As one of the few Mormon-Muslim couples around, we're often asked what religion Baby Z will be raised in. I waver between "I don't know" and "Both." Or perhaps he'll choose neither. In the meantime he's getting exposed regularly to two out of the three Abrahamic faiths. (Maybe he'll marry a nice Jewish girl one day?)

Learning about Mormon the prophet/historian/warrior.

What a beautiful little guy you have there!! As for religion - take it for one who married an ex-Mormon (he left the church before I met him - important only to the in-laws) we chose Episcopalian - all of the ceremony and none of the guilt - however I really do like that new pope :). Only kidding - aim to raise a non-practicing good person (it's a reference to a Roseanne episode, but is quite aprapro) - if you end up with a child who trusts in the future and recognizes a higher purpose you win. The exact religion is unimportant at that point. Mormons are good people - I have married a huge family that I can swear are some of the best family people - and I believe the basis of the Koran Is peace - you really can't go wrong. Plus that new pope - what fun the next mgeneration will have. Miss your smile and hope DC treats you well!!
