I've been tinkering with my skincare routine. I have dry skin and adult acne, which is not a happy combination, exacerbated by pregnancy and post-partum. I've been using the Clarisonic Mia after two years, since there isn't a plug (strangely) in the bathroom; I keep it charged in the bedroom. I've also been using organic vinegar as a toner/astrigent, and as moisturizer olive oil mixed in with day/night cream and eye cream. I smell like a salad most days. I envy Baby Z's smooth, soft skin.
Some mom observations:
* Maggie Simpson's paci action is accurate
* little feet do go pitter-patter
* Disney characters' animated eyes are scarily based on reality
I don't know other babies well enough to compare, but from other moms' comments I'm lucky that Baby Z hasn't been bothered by teething, doesn't need any car seat entertainment, forgoes a lovey completely, and doesn't seem to need naps on the weekends. The only odd development is that when he cries starts putting both hands in his mouth. He's also in the hitting and pinching and occasionally biting stage, which we're trying to gently but firmly discourage, but is very annoying indeed.
