Washington DC is food truck heaven! Since I work downtown, it's easy to sample the mobile deliciousness embodied in food trucks. I've enjoyed the offerings of eponymous Fojol Brothers several times, plus the bright yellow (nameless?) Korean truck that serves bulgogi. Today I had Mumbai butter chicken from Sâuçá which totally hit the spot on this cold, windy day.
Last night was the last session for my music appreciation class at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. Because of the gaggle of kids and moms on main floor, the instructor and I retired to the nearby Starbucks. There was another lady enrolled, but she came the one time I was sick, so I've never seen her. Since I've tried to learn about music on my own the instructor and I just spend the whole time chatting about...whatever. Deep music, marching bands, the Beatles, ballet, and more. It was like being in therapy but more fun. It's too bad I can't join her next class ("The Art of Singing") because of my travel schedule.
