My new favorite blog is Road Warriorette. I emailed a question, and she answered with a post!

Plus Size Professional Outfits for Travel

For this upcoming trip I am pretty happy with what I'm taking: a short sleeve jacket, a short skirt, two pairs of slacks (one knit, one not), and a blazer, all "stretch" from Style & Co. at Macy's. I'm also taking along several knit blouses with a bit of lycra and a cardi. Three pairs of shoes (one to wear, two to pack): a pair of Skechers Mary Janes (emergency purchase at Filene's Basement when I couldn't bear my heels anymore), and my "cage" sandals and ballet flats from Target. Since I'll be in meetings in hotel conference rooms in Dakar and Pretoria, I don't expect much variation between a/c and summer warmth.

Last night MoBob and I went to see HP7:DH. The 7:30pm showing was mainly populated by young professionals coming after work. I've cooled considerably toward HP, namely because of Tome 7, but I still enjoyed the movie. I'm glad Ron got more airtime, and I liked how the Deathly Hallows fairy tale was told in an animation reminiscent of Indonesian shadow puppets.

Although it would be hard to use that style for a story that's cute and not sinister!
