Juilliard String Quarter concert at the Library of Congress. I was probably one of the youngest people there. A very nice performance with a varied program, and an encore of Schubert. The concert notes were the best I've read - I actually understood the history of each piece and was able to follow individual movements.

Bartók: Quartet no. 2
Bolcom: Second Violin Sonata (a new one for me)
Beethoven: Quartet in F Major, op. 135

MoBob and I attended a moving, tearful, and laughter-filled memorial service for the husband of a friend of mine. As we pulled out of the Kensington Stake Center parking lot, MB remarked, "You haven't been to the temple in a while." Wasn't the whole point of marrying a non-member not having to feel guilty?!

I started a music theory class held at the local middle school and organized by a church that meets there. Nearly everyone (including myself) had a vague understanding of music, in my case from playing the flute as a child and my mother's piano-playing througout my life. Since the instructor is a vocalist we will end the class with a group sing.

My fashion blog is up!

We who are left behind feel guilty.

Accidents leave us in place. Eventually, we will be claimed. Until then, we must live as they would have wanted.

Strange mood? You have no idea.
