MoBob's friend, who wrote a children's book called The Butter Man with his wife, is coming for a brief visit. MB emailed, "Hi honey, Butter Man is coming late, he has just left his house now, it is always Moroccan Time even he lived here for 20 years."
Hurricane season started on June 1st, and I'm currently following two storms, one hovering between the Philippines and Taiwan, and the other off the coast of Mexico. One thing I learned about storms: if a storm is given a name, that's A Bad Sign.
I just see so many second, third and fourth generation American born children that have no sense of culture, no interest in learning the language, etc. It is a shame. It seems such a shame to have that sort of identity just slip away.
