I went to a roundtable this afternoon held at the posh offices of a fancy law firm. The conference room had floor to ceiling windows overlooking the White House with the Washington Monument behind it. While I did my best to pay attention to the discussion, every few minutes my gaze would stray toward the White House. Once in awhile I can see a figure exit a door or workers in the garden. As the afternoon progressed the rain got heavier and the view blurred with raindrops.
We got finally got a subscription to Washingtonian Magazine. The April issue features best local websites and blogs, with a list of neighborhood blogs for the greater DC area. Surprisingly, no blogs for Capitol Hill/Eastern Market. Weird - this is the neighborhood fondly called "C-SPANistan." The closest blogs geographically cover H Street and Anacostia.
