I posted about my experience last year so I thought I'd do a little interview with MoBob while he was taking a study break.

Me: Did you suspect that Arabs and/or Muslims would be involved?
MB: No, because there was so much speculation at first, like the Japanese terrorist group.

Me: After you found out that it was Al-Qaeda, how did you feel?
MB: I was surprised. I knew that there were extremist groups but I didn't realize they would have the capacity to plan such a strategy or to have the resources.

Me: How did you feel when you saw my reaction? (Note: I was pretty hysterical.)
MB: I understood how you felt. I was in solidarity with you. I felt sad for Morocco.

Me: How did your family in your village feel?
MB: I don't think they really understood the impact of what happened. People in the village have other priorities.

Me: You know, I knew when we were together that day that we should get married, because I knew we could weather a lot at that point.
MB: Bisous.

Ditto. That is pretty neat. Also, I love the observation, "People in the village have other priorities."

I think they all thought NYC was the capitol of the US, if they thought of NYC at all.
