Checking my work emails this morning...I have requests to go to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for a meeting and Chicago to accompany a colleague to visit Northwestern University. So much for a mellow summer at home.

If I have fun like the weekend in Amsterdam it's more manageable...but jet lag + dirty laundry is not much fun.
