I love back to school time. We went on a little trip to Office Depot and I was overwhelmed with the sight of endless school supplies. But no Pee-Chee folders or Trapper Keepers or pencils with little gnomes on the end. Instead...spandex book covers. What happened to making them out of brown paper bags? September is shaping up to be a busy month. A quick look at Google calendar already shows all the weekends blocked out for visitors, including two consecutive weekends with overnight guests. Well, I'm ready! We finally replaced the deflating air mattress with something (hopefully) more sturdy, and new towels in a different color. Today and yesterday were cool and rainy, great weather to anticipate the fall season. Oh, and Ramadan. I promise MoBob: no more making you listen to the sound of frying bacon at sunset. How mainstream are Muslims now? Enough to warrant Eid e-cards at Hallmark. |

Now you can get them in several other colors than the original yellow-pencil shade. JaneAnne On August 22nd, 2007 06:23 pm (UTC), (Anonymous) replied: I just found them at Fred Meyer. JaneAnne |

I heard on the news that the average family spends $500 on school supplies each year. Now, I am assuming that number includes clothes right? How much could a box of crayons cost? I informed Jeremy that the school supply list includes far more than it did when we were growing up. I dread having to put two through school!!!(and then college!!) Ethan Andew will be here on October 31st!!! |
