Talk to the Hand (of Fatima)

In Morocco, a popular and revered symbol is the Hand of Fatima.

It is supposed to bring good luck and protect a household's safety and well-being. Women often wear necklaces with the Hand of Fatima as a pendant, and some houses have a HoF painted or hanging outside.

Some days I feel like flipping the Middle Finger of Fatima.

...middle finger of Fatima...hehhehheh... I love it. Great chuckle - and if you come across a middle finger (or even the brits' two-finger version) of the Hand of Fatima pendant, you must swear right here and now that you will get some of them for me!!

Still chuckling...

Heh heh is right...if I ever find the Middle Finger, you'll be sure to receive one, and you can hang it next to the mini Venus of Villendorf that JaneAnne gave to us.

I can't believe such a thing doesn't already exist, but I couldn't turn one up on Google. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled--Portland is the perfect kind of place to find a Fuck You hamsa.
