Well, MoBob is relieved that we won't have to buy more stuff for Bassou for the next while, except for diapers and wipes and feeding supplies. (Some items, like a nursing bra and breast pump, I'll just wait on.) After four (!) baby showers (thank you generous friends!) we still had a few un-sexy items to purchase; with Amazon and trips to Once Upon a Child and Monkey's Uncle, and a side visit to Costco to get a membership, we're all set. For now. We also scored a storage unit in the basement so MB spent part of the weekend moving plastic storage boxes downstairs and freed up some more space for Bassou's stuff and the sister-in-law's arrival. I also met with our doula and talked over the different possibilities associated with induction, and our general game plan for Bassou's birth. I've packed our hospital bag and pre-registered at the hospital. All the thank-you notes have been sent. I've set up diaper changing areas and packed the diaper bags. I've washed and put away Bassou's clothes. I finished my handover notes at work and the mini-projects I'm working on are easily transferable. We have an appointment on Tuesday to install the car seat.

And so the wait continues.

Getting so close! You will be glad for these preparations. Do you have several outfits worth of very soft, stretchy, comfy loungewear? I lived in it those first weeks. Something nice enough that someone stopping by could see me in it without me being embarrassed, but comfy enough to sleep in too.

I still have umpteen pairs of yoga pants and bought a few more from ebay, and stocked up on nursing tops when they were on sale on gap.com. I bought several comfortable bras from shopcoobie.com that have grown with me over the months, and in a pinch I can pull them down to nurse, and I've already slept in them.

Anything else? I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Nope, sounds like you're good! I pretty much lived in a couple of plain sets like this one - but black or mostly-black patterns to pair with black, because I imagined it could pass as like "normal ish" lounge wear if it needed to. Loved the very soft stretchiness. If your yoga pants are super soft etc then you're probably all set! You're in the final countdown. :)

I've also talked to the Relief Society presidency at church and they've already ready to line up meals and people to stay with me while Mo goes to France...gosh, I'm sure I'm forgetting *something.* Ack.
