On Saturday evening we hosted MoBob's co-workers' supper club. We've been meeting fairly regularly on a monthly basis for two years now, and this is the first time we've had them over for Moroccan food. The evening ended with the surprising presentation of a variety of baby gifts...I teared up at the show of their generosity. Most of all they volunteered their time. I will definitely take advantage - if there's one thing I've learned from recent trials, it's to ask for help.
I went to see the OB again and had another ultrasound on Monday. During the ultrasound the technician exclaimed, "he's a big boy!" and pointed out that Bassou had already turned upside down. She managed to get a partial 3-D image of his face. We saw his chubby cheeks and, thank goodness, MY NOSE. (I've asked MB to scan the image so hopefully I can post it soon.) The OB confirmed what the technician saw. At 32 weeks, Bassou is already in the 92nd percentile for his size, so I do risk giving birth to a big boy indeed. The OB said we might have to consider an induction and possibly a c-section. Something to think about.
