Overall, I had a good time both professionally and personally in NYC, despite (or because of?) the Percocet. I saw as many friends as I could, took in a lot of sights (the Strand Bookstore, the Met, the Guggenheim, the NY Public Library, MoMA – MoBob went on the financial crisis tour), and took public transport (including the bus) almost everywhere.

I came back with a cold, and finally moved into a new cubicle space in the main building. I took a couple of days off to recuperate, and I’m just dealing with the remnants now. I have no travel in my immediate future so I’m not feeling as overwhelmed and pressured as before.

I’ve succumbed and joined Pinterest. I’ve got three boards so far – “the global traveler at home” (décor), “classic with an edge” (apparel), and “addicted to bags” (self-explanatory). I could see my delicious account sliding into neglect.

I hate when you get a Traveller's Cold. Ick. I'm glad you had a good time in NYC. :)

It's things like the financial crisis tour that give me hope for humanity. A species that appreciates humor can't be entirely bad :-)
