Monkeys!

And more monkeys!

Buddha overlooks a fountain where you can make a wish by throwing coins.

A serene and colorful Buddha.

The Hindu stupa is next to a Buddhist temple.

A view of smoggy, sprawling Kathmandu.

The monkeys are cute. Think you could get one through customs? ("How on earth did that get in there?! Honest, officer, that suitcase only had a camera and wallet in there when I packed it. I guess that explains the screeching and thrashing coming from my bag. How odd.")

Since I travel on a diplomatic passport, technically speaking I get a pass at customs - but I don't think the monkey would be very happy!
