Out of curiosity at JFK airport I picked up an issue of ESPN the magazine's fiction issue. Granted, the combination of "ESPN" and "fiction" piqued my interest, and I saw that it was co-edited by Dave Eggers, and it was a reasonable $4.99 worth of reading material, so I bought it.

I was really impressed. I understood and enjoyed every story, feeling I usually don't experience poring through the New Yorker's inscrutable short fiction.

Here's one of several heartbreaking story:
"Angel Wings"

Yes, I am in Bangkok now.

How's the humidity at this time of the year? It was a killer when we were there.

Also, has anyone tried to see you illegal porn yet? ;)

Gah, it's always humid for me but at least it's rained and cooled down a bit. No porn of any kind has been offered - so far!
