a day in the life

I read in the Unclutterer book that Tuesday is the most stressful day of the week, because it's when you realize how much work there is to do. Well, every day seems like that to me, and perhaps the week after the holidays is the epitome (or nadir?).

7am Arrive at the office, answer emails
9am Meeting with colleagues from another USG agency working on the same initiative as I am
10:40 Appointment with dermatologist
12pm Lunch at desk/answer emails
1pm Meeting with my counterpart who covers Europe and Asia
2pm Phone call with consultant on upcoming trainings
3pm Desk work: review documents from Senegal and Thailand, prep for a lunchtime discussion on food security issues, and prep for a big meeting on Thursday
5pm (hopefully) Leave the office

A pretty typical day.

*gulps* You poor thing. Hey, at least your life is busy and fulfilling and you're not bored.

I really don't know how people with kids manage, especially here!

What do you think of the Unclutterer book? I've been toying with purchasing it.

I checked it out from the library first - I thought it had a lot of good info and easy to read, though a little unrealistic to do everything in one week!
