Ramadan dinner

MoBob and I attended a "break the fast" lftour sponsored by the High Atlas Foundation at Marrakech Palace. My photos of the belly-dancer came out blurry so we'll just have to settle for the food.

I always forget what these mini-portions are called, but that's a boiled egg with cumin on the left.

The traditional Ramadan soup, harira.

Beghrir, Moroccan pancakes topped with butter and honey.

Couscous with chicken.

We have one of these elaborate tea sets at home.

Possible Halloween costume? The Devil's Djellaba.

Wow, interesting! I love the juxtaposition of the Moroccan elegance and the Halloween costume. Do you think they were substituting it for something?

I don't know - I have a feeling they didn't anticipate that this outfit would look so diabolical!
