don't call me

Not only do I hate talking on the phone, but I also lose track of my cell pretty regularly. I've lost my phone for the third time in the four years since we've moved back to the U.S. Well, technically speaking incident #2 was when I accidentally left my phone in a pocket of a pair of jeans that eventually went into the washer.

This time I'd turned my phone off to preserve the battery so I can't even call to see where it is. I know I left it in the office - I think it accidentally dropped in the wastebasket and now it's gone. I ordered a new pair of phones for myself and MoBob (since his is showing its age), and we got a special deal because we have to renew our contract anyway, but it's still a pain to deal with. If I really need to call anyone (i.e. MOM) I have Skype or can use MB's phone. Quite frankly the phone's most useful features are the clock and the calculator.

I use my smart phone for the internet access WAY more than I use it for phones. Jay uses his for text messaging more than anything.

I HATE when I put it on vibrate though and then I can't find it. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves. :(

I wonder if there's some sort of tracking device that can be installed, like for car keys.

If there isn't you could invent it and then make a billion. Just make sure I get a complimentary set please. :)
