Scott did a great job and it was fun actually participating in a photo shoot with professionals. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Now that I have professional photos I've been replacing my photo on various websites, and I didn't realize how extensive my online presence in. Some I neglect more than others, for sure, but still.
On Thursday evening I went to see the stage production of The Graduate with the U.C. Davis and U.C. Berkeley alums. The play was very different from the film, and I think the folks who didn't see the film had a definite advantage. I kept expecting to hear Simon and Garfunkel, and I didn't - apparently a deliberate choice on the part of the director. The characters were, especially the two sets of parents, were a lot more developed than in the movie. Mrs. Robinson was actually sympathetic. And kudos to the gorgeous actress who played her. Since the organizer of the event is on the Keegan Theater's board, we had a chance to meet and mingle with the cast afterwards.
On Saturday evening MoBob and I went to see the Pan American Symphony Orchestra perform as part of the DC Tango Festival. We'd gone last year as well, and this year's concert was much more light-hearted. One of the female dancers actually wore leggings, and though it wasn't as pretty as a dress, I could actually follow her intricate movements more closely.
And in between all this I played tennis.
