Yes, I have a latent Imelda Marco gene. I've taken up two file drawers at work with my shoes. At least I stuff fabric softener sheets in each shoe and have a Febreze deodorizer in there too.

Unfortunately my clothes are at home and my shoes are at work so sometimes it's hit or miss!

All cheapie shoes too - the most expensive pair are the brown flats from Ann Taylor which were $30. Everything's from Target or Payless.

SERIOUSLY?

I need to do some looking there. Wow. I'm amazed. How comfortable are they?

Why do you keep your shoes at work? I guess it saves space at home, but ... ?

I walk 15 minutes to the metro and then walk another 10 minutes or so to the office, so my "nice" shoes were getting thrashed. I'd love to wear flipflips all day if I could!

Oh, right! Public transit! I always forget there are places where everyone uses public transit every day. Very practical, then, keeping the shoes at work!

I find this both practical and hilarious. I know people that bring the change of shoes with them, but really - why bother carrying back and forth? My prob would be weekend wear.

ooooh, love the red and black pairs in drawer #1.

I am sad. I own two pairs of shoes I wear regularly to work: one pair of brown heels, one pair of black.

Black pair from Target, red pair from Payless. Do you commute in your shoes? I don't think I can Metro in any of these.

I generally don't wear my work shoes before I get in, because hauling the babies is tough in heels, especially if the oldest decides to bolt in a parking lot.

I'm just lucky to have empty file drawers, though in my last job I had an office to myself and brought in a shoe rack.

I look back at my first and second jobs where I did have my own office, and now I look around and even the more senior folks are only in cubes... sigh. Working in the private sector has its perks.
