working from home (again)

My tummy felt funny this morning and I decided that it would be a lot easier to manage my gastric troubles at home rather than at work. The bathroom is a lot closer for one. I don't have to wear restrictive pantyhose for another. So I've been working from home, and it really does mean working - phone calls, emails, reading, writing, and researching. It's a beautiful sunny day though. I promise myself, "if I get this done by then, I'll go for a walk."

I miss the witty banter at the office, but now I can blast RFI or NPR as loudly as I like and take a break to prepare lentils for lunch. I made an effort to get dressed this morning. Granted, in pajama-like clothes: yoga pants and a sweatshirt.

I forgot to mention that I've been released from nursery and my new calling is on the ward activities committee. I'll miss the kids, but it's a relief. Bishop P. had said they'd been considering it for awhile. Yay!

Working from home is hard for me - I can't get away from all the things I have neglected around the house!

I took breaks by puttering around...probably not the most efficient use of time.

My laundry is very hands-on so I like doing that if I'm working at home. And making lunch fresh is nice too.
