On Saturday I went on a guided tour of Bangkok and started off with the floating market in Ratchaburi, about an hour and a half from the city.

In the boat on the way to the market.

Life along the river.

A huge Buddha statue.

There were probably more tourists than local shoppers.

You can find anything and everything there - including "fast food."

I'm amazed by how many foreigners I see in your photos (I am loving all these photos, btw.) Does Thailand normally have so many foreigners?

I want to go!!

Walking around the business district I see a lot of foreigners, plus there are a lot of Thai tourists - one of the temples I went to was overrun by nursing students on a school trip.
