It's cold and there was a half-hearted snowfall this morning. I spent a good chunk of my day using maps of Darfur. Did you know there are three big chunks of that one area of Sudan? North, West, and South. Each little dot represents a village or a town - substantial on paper, but in reality probably an empty cluster of burned out huts as so many people have been displaced to camps.
I finally switched over to GoogleReader. I was such a big fan of rssfwd.com and then it got all wonky. Then I subscribed to some feeds via FeedBlitz and didn't like the format. So GoogleReader it is. Of course I have to remember to check it, which is why I preferred email in the first place.
My new favorite blog is On Frozen Blog which is entertaining and incisive but not too much over my head as a hockey novice. Plus I like the videos. Even if you don't like hockey, check out the ones featuring Ovie, who's probably the funniest guy on ice.
