I can at least confirm that the comfort food aspect described in this article is true. In the main reception area there is a huge crockpot of chili next to a rice cooker full of rice and a pan of corn bread. There are open sacks of chips, a basement full of soft drinks (the runaway favorite seems to be Red Bull), and usually some sort of hot dinner, at least when I've come here. I can see the attraction of stress-induced junk food consumption.
I had an appointment at Georgetown this morning. It's been over ten years since I visited the campus - my last semester of grad school I had a weekly tutorial with a professor there. Will I ever stop being mistaken for a student?! I had a haircut at the Aveda Institute afterwards and the student stylist said that was a good thing.
