MoBob got into the MBA program (with a concentration in non-profit management) at Trinity. Yay MB! I'm so proud that he's going to a Catholic university that's only coed for grad school. I'm sure he'll get into other programs too but this was the first response and he's happy with what they offer.

Spent all day today at the World Bank. We met with the road safety people. Learned a lot about helmet and seat belt education. Wow. And roundabouts are safer than intersections! I was reminded of the North-West Province of Cameroon where people resisted paving the ring road because they thought drunken drivers would only drive faster.

Yeah - I think this is an argument even in the US for a lot of private roads or roads with kids. Let's not encourage speeding!

Of course MB has never relinquished his African driving habits, unfortunately.

Hah! Yeah I drive more in Kinshasa than I do here. It's not always easy to maintain two different driver profiles...

It suits him as a DHL driver anyway!

Congrats to MoBob!

That's very exciting. Is he accepting straight away or waiting for the other offers to roll in?

I think he wants to accept right away, but he hasn't heard from other programs. Also he doesn't have his financial aid package yet - that would be the determining factor for me!
