Yesterday I glimpsed a local TV show on how to look best in a bikini which featured randomly chosen young women on a beach subject to expert fashion advice and then madeover with new suits.
This morning I learned that only 1% (as in the opposite of 99%) of Afro-Brazilians ever make it to university.
Most of last night was spent dancing at the partner organization's office.
Oh yeah and it's humid too.
Those numbers are something I'd like to find out more about - anectodally all the Brazilians I knew at SAIS and the passengers on the plane to Rio were definitely of European origin.
