If you see a mysterious charge in your on-line bank statement from amazon.com and you haven't ordered anything recently, do not hack into your beloved's account to see what he got you for Valentine's Day. And then do not make a full disclosure out of guilt. (Well, it's his fault since he always uses the same password.)
I've been at the office say, oh, 7am. I had a doctor's appointment at 11am. (I lost eight pounds since my last visit before Thanksgiving - how did that happen?) I came back and worked some more then we had a staff meeting. I'm still here. I have so much work to do, especially since I'll be gone for essentially the whole month of March - and March is a long month. I haven't been able to get through my to-do list either at home or at work. MoBob is busy too. He spends most of his spare time studying for the TOEFL and GMAT. Of course, I still engage in the Great Internet Time Suck of: (1) on-line shopping (2) email (3) LJ and (4) Facebook. What's dangerous is when I bring the work laptop home and then both of us are facing the screen, not each other. Plus I have heaps and heaps of friends that I connect with more on-line than in-person. Maybe it's finally time for 52 Nights Unplugged.
