Last night MoBob and made another trek to the National Mall for the last Screen on the Green movie of the summer: Casablanca. MB had never seen it, and this was the first time for us to attend SOTG. Of course my hyper-organized paranoid self had carefully noted all the advice. We got a good spot by arriving a couple of hours early, spread out our blankets, and munched our way through pesto, chicken-apple sausage, fruit, and lemonade while people-watching, reading, and waiting for the sun set. Watching the HBO boogie was fun if bizarre, but I think the crowd was too big (the biggest crowd ever the MC said) to have a good audience dynamic apart from clapping at all the famous lines and swooning at Rick's and Elsa's first appearances.
